January New FO : Wallflower quilt

 Hi Everyone!

My first quilt project for 2014 is  this scrappy quilt which I follow the free pattern from Quilting-Warehouse . I used scrap fabric for this project.  This is how my half done quilt looks like.

The pattern is called Wallflowers.

 Happy Quilting!

February Finishes #03 : ScrappyTriple-Zip pouch

Hi everyone!

If you has been following me long enough, you would know that I love making pouches.  When I found Debbie's of A Quilter's Table,is having  a sew along party namely Triple-Zip Along, I am so excited and join in the fun.  This is how my first Triple-Zip pouch looks like.  It was made 100% from scrap fabrics and  due to that I name it Scrappy Triple-Zip Pouch.

This is how the back looks like.  I used QAYG technique.

and this is the inside of the pouch. I used dark polka dot fabric for the lining.

I love the colors and definitely this piece I will keep for myself.

I'm linking with Triple-Zip Along Flickr group,

Scraps Attack : Show & Tell #3

Hello friends!!

It is the time again to share how much I've used my scrap fabric in the month of March for the Scrap Attack String:  Quilt A-Long.  These are the March String blocks that I've finished...8 blocks all together

and this is how my string blocks look like.  Currently I have finished 28 blocks in total...

and just to share how I keep all my blocks that already started to grow ... I used this container.

That's about my work in progress for the Scrap Attack ...till next time...

Happy Sewing!!
