Ruffled Earflap Hat

Hi everyone!!

Another crocheted hat that I've finished yesterday...It is a gift for a friend who just gave birth to a baby girl.
It is an earflap hat with ruffle in size for a new born.

I am in the midst of writing the pattern. I used a lot of hdc and sc stitches for this pattern.  It is suitable for a beginner level.

Happy Crocheting!!

Shell Sun Hat #2

Hello there!!

I just finished crocheting this Shell Sun Hat for my second niece that born in 2012. I used the same pattern as the first Shell Sun Hat but with two different colors.

The flower is also different from the first Shell Sun Hat.  I used three different colors for the flowers and two different yarns for the leaf.

Slouchy Hat

Hi everyone!!

Just a quick post today....

I finished crocheting this slouchy hat for a friend... this hat is using my Sweet Slouchy hat pattern

The colors were of her choice - combination of Black and Red.
She wants it to comes with a flower from the same red with leaves.... and I add with a layer of pink to make the flower outstanding ...

and I love the result...hope she likes it too!!

Happy Crocheting and Happy Holidays!!

Crochet Pattern

These are what I've been doing during the weekend... writing a crochet pattern - baby hat and slouchy hat ...

and  this was the result... Baby Puff Hat for a baby girl.

Basically this hat will be a gift for a colleague who is already in her third trimester pregnancy..... I'm not sure whether it will be a girl or a boy anyway since the color is sweet for a girl so I designed a hat pattern for a girl... embellished with a pink flower.

I will crochet another one for a baby boy ... just in case if she had a boy instead of a girl. I'm thinking of crocheting a Baby Brim Hat ...

I also give my hand in crocheting a slouchy hat or should I call it beret ? Basically this is my first trial in writing a pattern for a slouchy hat. I used double crochet, half double crochet and cluster stitch in this pattern.

This is how it looks like at first  after a few rounds... the hat was too tight...

I am totally not satisfied with the result so I pull out everything and re-do again...

and after a few times doing this... at the end I have to satisfied with this...

I used 3 balls of 100% Arcylic yarn, weight 45 g to complete this adult size hat.

Happy Crocheting!!

Toddler Hat

HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone...
This year I start with a simple hat project for my daughter. This hat starts on Monday January 9th and completed on 11th January. I would claim that this is from my own design. I do write the pattern but it is meant for my own used. Currently I still in the process of learning to write the pattern of my own design by using the standard term. English basically is not my mother tongue, so I feel quite difficult to write this pattern. One of this day I will share some free pattern for the items that I've made for my children.
