Blogtoberfest Day 21 : A Finish

Hi Everyone!!

Day 21 of  Blogtoberfest

I'm indeed not able to commit as promised. It has been three days I did not post anything at my blog.  I was busy sewing the Garden Steps quilt top during the weekend...

 
It was not my intention to finish it up so quickly, but once I've started working on it, I just couldn't stop!

 I used Domestic Bliss and some Ruby fabric which I bought from Sew Lux Fabric & Gifts.

Here is the result of the finished quilt top and I LOVE it!! It measures about 63" x 82".

Blogtoberfest Day 16 : Happy Day...

Hello everyone!!

Day 16 of  Blogtoberfest.

I am so happy today when I received the winning prize from Jennie of Clover &Violet.  It's a custom cut charm pack of Magic Garden by Sabine Reinhart for Blend Fabrics. I love the colors...they are so soft and lovely!

This prize was for the Summertime Adventures : Projects for Kids linky party  hosted by Clover & Violet. You may see  the project that I did for the kids HERE .  I am not sure what will I sew with these fabric  but I'm thinking of making something for my daughters... the colors are so sweet...

Blogtoberfest Day 14 : Great Granny Along

Hello!

Day 14 of Blogtoberfest...

I finished sewing all the blocks for the Great Granny quilt.  

I used the French General fabric Jelly rolls for these three blocks.

These are the last pieces of blocks for the great granny quilt. There are 12 blocks size of 12.5" in total.

Blogtoberfest Day 11: Beginner's Quilt Along

Day 11 of Blogtoberfest

It has been a while I post my progress on the Quilt Along  hosted by Pat Sloan at Quilting Gallery.  Since my sewing machine broke down I am not manage to complete it on time. This project has been neglected since then.  I've been far behind from the schedule...  This is my progress so far...   Hope I can finish it all by this weekend.

 my friends used to write this when we are parting due to change of school...those were days without hand phones, and facebook, and  letters are the only medium of correspondence....

Blogtoberfest Day 9 : Great Granny Along

It's day 9 of Blogtoberfest

Just a quick short post today ...it's about my work in  progress with the Great Granny Along.

Today I  managed to finished two more blocks.  This is how the blocks look like ...

Sorry for the blur photo... I've yet to buy a new camera after my cute Olympus digital camera gone missing... Temporarily I use my Samsung phone camera and this is the outcome. It makes it worse when I snap it at night... just pretend you don't see the shadow okay!...he...he...

Blogtoberfest Day 8 : Garden Steps - Block #12

It's day 8 of Blogtoberfest...

 I finished stitching the last block for the Garden Steps Quilt Along that joined at Clover & Violet.
  This is how the label block looks like...

I choose November month as the month to finish up the quilt...

With that finished, I have to look back at the layout on how to sew all the twelve blocks together.

Today I am sharing a finished crochet project that I did as a gift for my niece.

She is three month old by today....It is a Ruffle Shell Sun Hat

Since my brother is staying quite far I need to send this by post...Hope the happy parents loves it.

Blogtoberfest Day 5: Water Bottle Holder

Hello Everyone!!

It's day 5 of Blogtoberfest ... 

Today I'm sharing a project that I just finished. It is a crocheted bottle holder for my daughter.  I used simple stitch such as double crochet, single crochet and chain stitch. 

Since her water bottle is  in green she ask the holder to be in the same colorways.

 I found it interesting even though basically I am not good in writing.   

Since I have a lot to share especially on my sewing progress and crocheting project...
