Mug Rug Madness

Erin from 'Two More Seconds' is hosted Mug Rug Madness: holiday edition from 12th - 22nd   September 2011. What is Mug Rugs? You will know all about it by clicking HERE.  There are tons of inspiration, and tutorials to follow to enable you to make your own mug rugs.

Last night I try to sew one of my own mug rug...and this is how my first mug rug looks like .

The binding is still yet to be sewn.

 I will share the completed mug rug  in the Mug Rug Madness flickr group.

This is my first and I am sure it will not be my last!

Embroidery 101:Block 7

I just completed stitching the embroidery for Block 7 for the Stitch & Quilt Along at Clover & Violet.

The cloud was suppose to used the split stitch but while I'm doing it I forgot about it and end up everything was used the back stitch... anyway



the rest of the pattern were according to the stitch as given by Jennie.

Crochet Along

This is the first Crochet Along that I've participated. It was host by Scottie...at the Oxford Family blog.
For those interested to join the fun, you may visit her blog for the details... I make used all the yarns that available from my stock... since I don't have time to go shopping for new yarns.  And these are what I  choose and there will be more colours since we need to crochet 88 pieces of Granny Square...

Basically the Crochet Along is already in week 3 and since I just came back from my long holidays I only started crocheting on 10th September... and following are the squares that I've completed up to round 4 so far...total of 11 pieces only.
