Emma Clutch : Charm Squares

Hello Everyone!!

This is how my Emma Clutch looks like. The pattern is  by Clover & Violet which I received for free for finishing the Ruby Market tote: Stitch & Quilt Along!

The clutch include a flap at the front with embroidery flower...I change the flap with a curve at both side.  and this is how my flap looks like.

The original pattern is with a magetic button for the closure...but for mine I used velcro closure.

For the lining  I used Ruby dot fabric by Bonnie & Camille for Moda  and for the fusible interfacing I used Pellon SF101...both were bought at Sew Lux

For this project, I used the Friendship charm squares that I've won  at Vroomans Quilts. I used total of 15 charm squares all together to complete this clutch. I intend to give this as a gift for my mother... Mother's Day gift ...Is it too early? Any way I love this clutch...

If you like the pattern and would like to try one, you may visit Clover & Violet shop HERE

I am sharing my finish project at  Stitch & Share Challenge:Charm Squares at Sew Lux & Gifts blog.

HST Festival : Lunch Tote

Hi everyone!!

I finished sewing this lunch tote quite some time  but just got time to post about today.

I used heavy weight home decor fabric... all from my scraps collection

This is hoe the inside looks like...it comes with a pocket.  The size of the tote is 11" x 10" x 4"

The handle is about 16" long .

I construct the tote by using 2 pieces of  12.5" HST Block

Basically this lunch tote is a gift for my sister, and at the some time it was done for my entry to the Festival of Half Square Triangle hosted by Megan at her blog   Canoe Ridge Creations

The linky party is open from 16th -22nd April...if you have projects used HST block you still have 1 day to submit your entry...

Happy Sewing!!

Crochet Cardigan

Hi Everyone!!

Today I would like to introduce to the recipient of my crochet cardigan...  cute Baby Nur Khalisa Humaira.
A BIG thank you goes to her mother, Siti Khadijah for allowing me to share her baby photo at my blog.

She is almost three months old. The cardigan looks quite big for her at the moment... maybe in next two or three weeks it will fit better....anyway I feel the cardigan color just look lovely on her.
